We are proud to present you our Quota Manager. It will be very helpful for network administrators. It's well known, that there are no built-in capabilities of used disk space limitation for single users in Windows NT 4.0. However, the necessity for quotas emerges frequently enough. Quota Manager introduces obvious solution of the problem - user home disks size limitation. Quota Server consists of three parts - driver, system tools and administrative utility. The principle of operation: The program scans users sessions. When some new user connects, maximal allowed size of his home disk is determined. For each local or global user group the maximum home disk size is defined. This size is determined as a maximum for all groups, where the user included. At first, in order to define the user disk size Quota Server scans all files on the user disk, then Quota Server reacts adaptively to changes on it. When the maximum allowed disk size is exceeded, writing and file creation becomes forbidden.
