Is this a contradiction in terms. I just upgraded and installed successfully the 2.2.0 kernel with my avm b1 support built in to the kernel. (upgraded from 2.035) . I did this specifically for isdn support of my card. Am I wasting my time here, do I need 2.036 specifically. I would have used 2.036 but I didn't want to have to download the 6MB. Will 2.2.0 work with available patches? Cheers, Mark Hamlin p.s. please send a direct e-mail response. If you have trouble cc.ing I'll forward a copy to the newsgroups.

I forgot to include the info about why I was asking the question. When trying to install isdn4linux, I can complete the 'make config' but the 'make' procedure fails with the following: gcc -g -Wall -pipe -DLIBAREA -DAVON=\"avon\" -I/usr/isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2 -c -o avon/createDB.o avon/createDB.c ar rs libisdn.a isdntools.o conffile.o libtools.o ../areacode/areacode.o avon/createDB.o ranlib libisdn.a make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2/lib' make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2/lib' make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2/isdnctrl' gcc -DVERSION=\"3.0beta2\" -Wall -O2 -I. -I/usr/src/linux22/linux/include -DI4L_CTRL_CONF -DI4L_CTRL_TIMRU -c -o isdnctrl.o isdnctrl.c isdnctrl.c:460: warning: #warning ISDN_NET_DM_OFF not defined? Thanks, Mark
