Hi there,
Can someone please help me? I having a NT 4 server and a Novell
4.11 Server, workstations running Intranetware Client. Protocol: TCP/IP and
IPX/SPX. I need to install a ISDN card (internal) on the NT server to allow
personnel with ISDN connection at home to dial in, so that they can work
from home.
Questions are:
1. Is it possible to install a internal ISDN modem?
2. Can I assign a IP to the internal card?
3. I will be install a firewall product (eg. Checkpoint)
in the future,
can the remote user walk through the firewall and
connect to the lan.
Because from what I heard firewall product like
Checkpoint runs
only TCP/IP. So how to configure?
4. Where will be the authentication be?
Can the above be configure?
Daniel

Daniel, partial answers: 1. You'll need NT NDIS WAN drivers for your ISDN card, but then you can use it for all RAS activities just like an analog modem. I have a NT4 Server machine with an active AVM B1 card running this way. 2. Don't think so, at least I cannot assign one to my card. Although the card, with NDIS drivers installed, will show up in the adapter list, but it cannot be selected in the TCP/IP property sheet. 3. Can't answer that - never used it 4. Can you clarify on this ? On Wed, 15 Sep 1999 21:20:03 +0800, "Daniel Domain" <dan4dan@magix.com.sg> wrote: >Hi there, > Can someone please help me?
