My thanks go to the following for responding to my query about multiuser
setup under Crosspoint.
KB@strolchi.swb.de (Klaus Beschmann)
pgcbos@xs4all.nl (P. Bos)
norbert@twinski.toppoint.de (Norbert Hoffmann)
All three pointed me to Crosspoint's "internal" command
" *setuser uucp_nodename user_name (Real User Name) "
which can be assigned to any user defined macro. I have added similar
commands under the config menu, and now these appear as "user defined
menus" under the "Tools" menu. This setup DOES NOT USE ANY PASSWORD TO
SWITCH BETWEEN USERS. Consequently, the mail is not really private.
However, this is an acceptable situation, for a home computer.
I have another Crosspoint question that I posting under a different
subject line. Please respond if you can help.
Thanks a lot. --raj (raj@shiela.com)
