Host:   Unix with Taylor UUCP 1.06.1
Client: Dos with Crosspoint

The UUCP download has worked fine for the last few months. Recently, I
switched to a connection with higher speed (from 9600 to 14400), and the
mail download does not succeeds. I have tried the following three 
protocols: g, G and f.

In each case, one file is downloaded successfully, and then the download
process freezes. (In case of 'g' and 'G', "File ok" message stays, and
the remaining files are not transferred.)  The modem stays connected,
i.e., the carrier is not being dropped.
