hello,
I'm trying to compile Harvest on a BSDI box (2.0) and am getting these weird
_syntax_ errors (below).
I looked at the offending file, /usr/include/sys/stat.h and it looks just
fine to me, I don't see any syntax errors at all.
Does anyone have any idea what the cause of this could be?
Errors I get are below, and all the way down are lines 50-60, which is where
the first error occurs (lines 54-55)
Thanks
Otis

Make sure your program pulls in the header file defining the
missing types (<stddef.h>, methinks) _before_ <sys/stat.h>.
I.e. in agrep.c, say
#include <stddef.h>
...
#include <sys/stat.h>

The types aren't defined ... You need to include /usr/include/sys/types.h first. -- Andreas Klemm powered by ,,symmetric multiprocessor FreeBSD''
