Igor, they do not currently check for whether the version people want to
update is properly licensed. It is a very good question whether it would
be acceptable from a total network security viewpoint if they would in
the future decide to so do.

Your post and the service you offer is the best point yet made to the
effect that they ought to keep live-updating any windows version "no
questions asked" as they do now. Do be aware that I appriciate that you
simply want to make life easier for people out there, I do not
understand you as offering a service with any ill intent.
