Lohnt sich ueberhaupt BMS?

Nö. =:-> Nun, ich ziehe mir derzeit von deepthot.cary.nc.us alles, was nach Ser-/Parnet riecht, und auch für die Verwaltung der DICE-Mailingliste finde ich BMS recht praktisch. Ist nur etwas ungünstig, wenn die 2 MB/Tag, die ich BMS erlaube, just beim Nachmittagspoll rausgehen - die P*st freut sich =:-> Wer allerdings FTP-Zugang hat, dem dauert BMS möglicherweise zu lange ... kai -- _ _ // Kai 'wusel' Siering, Villa Straylight, Hamburg, Germany. Du koenntest ja gelegentlich mal einen Blick in die Contents-Files der verschiedenen Server werfen: auf chumly ist das im Augenblick: s.u. Wenn jemand fragt, ob sich FTP lohnt, postet Ihr dann auch den Inhalt
des naechsten FTP-Servers?
Leute, seid Ihr eigentlich noch zu retten? Solche Contents-Files kann man
doch via BMS anfordern, wenn man daran interessiert ist. Man muss sie nicht
extra posten (und vor allem nicht hier, dazu gibt es de.admin.archiv oder
auch de.*.lists)... es wuerde voellig reichen, wenn man bekannt gibt, DASS
man eine gut gewartete BMS-Site hat (Muehe soll ja schliesslich durch
Bekanntheit belohnt werden ;-)
Irgendwie ist das nicht mein Tag. Erst kann ich div. Artikel nicht lesen,
weil irgendwer die Umlaute zerhackt hat. Und als Nachtisch gibt es ueber-
fluessige Listen in der falschen Newsgroup als unpassende Antwort auf eine
ganz einfache Frage ;-)
Das MUSS ein Traum sein... gibt keine andere Erklaerung... Andreas
