Hi there, My father needs to convert a lot of data on 5.25 apple IIe
disks to Mac IIsi. I know little about this, in spite of having a Apple
for years (years ago) so this is what I figure are his options:
1. Buy a 3.5 drive for the Apple IIe.
problems: external power supply right? can I even get such a thing?
where?
2. buy a 5.25 drive for the Mac IIsi
problems: same as above
3. OCR the printed documents into the mac.
problems. he has a crappy printer and it might lose data.
also, this would take a very very long time.
4. Null modem between systems.
problems: I know exactly zero about this regarding mac/apple links.
intuitively it sounds easy but who knows these days?
I would appreciated any help or comments on these.
