hkdev10.zip TSR: Screen->files (versatile), DOS commands

HOTKEY DEVIL is a keystroke triggered TSR for MS-DOS acting on files
and on the text mode screen. On keystroke, while any application is
running:

* Certain fields of a screen mask may be assembled to one line and
  appended to a tabular file. Any mask oriented software can
  continuously update a tabular good for accounting or statistics.
  Each function key has its own screen mask format and output file.
  This is laid down in the configuration file. Users are encouraged to
  adapt it to their applications.

* Text output linewise and scrolling may be logged in a file. This
  enhances terminal emulators. Head and foot lines are allowed.

* A simple "screenshot" (25 x 80) may be appended to a file.

* DOS commands may be issued (if ShareWare, only COMMAND.COM).

HOTKEY DEVIL includes HD.EXE, HD.DOC (manual, 11 pages, formatted) and
HD.CNF (sample configuration). Foreign versions, conditions for reduced
fees and individual adaptions upon request. The author and uploader has
9 yrs experience in software development (analog i/o, DSP, graphics,
structural mechanics, marine engineering), a PhD degree and is ASME
member.
