Group 42 Goes Public

Silicon Valley North(CA) -- Group 42, the elusive hacker group that
published the controversial 1988 publication "Hacking, Cracking, Phun and
Games" rocked the computer world again today with their CD-ROM release
"Group 42 Sells Out, The Information Archive".

Kevin Clark a long time contributor to to the underground USENET group
alt.2600 said "The standards have been raised in the H/P CD-ROM publishing
business, I never thought I'd ever find a Hacker disc this good, and I've
tried them all."

"Best Hacker/Phreaker Disc I've ever seen" stated Stevyn Prothero the
publisher of the highly regarded underground zine the Iron Feather Journal.

"I can't believe they did it" said Imbie a long time resident of the Warez
community. "They are giving away the crown jewels of the Underground".

Nickle one of the founders of Group42 said "This release represents a new
era in publishing from the underground, no longer is the world stuck with a
disc full of inaccessible internet shovelware... anyone with the 'archive'
who can read and use a mouse can have full access to the knowledge of the
Hacker/Phreaker community plus never before released information that will
shake the world for years... we are hoping to inspire a whole new generation
of digital explorers with this disc."

The Information Archive also brakes new ground in CD-ROM publishing by being
the first CD-ROM to be published fully in HTML format, making it usable on
any make of computer. "This release is sure to be the catalyst of many more
titles published in HTML format... I'm surprised no one has thought of this
before" said Nickle of the release.
