NanoTech97:  The European Conference on Micro and Nanoscale Technologies
for Biosciences, taking place in Montreux, Switzerland, November 17-21,
1997 at the Montreux Palace Hotel.  

This new conference is designed to address the emerging field of micro and
nanoscale technologies as related to drug screening and combinatorial
chemistry, DNA-based assays, DNA sequencing, peptide sequencing and
synthesis, analysis of biological specimens and substrates.  There will be
poster sessions, as well as a short course on microsystems technology on
the 17th and 18th before the conference proper.

The organizers are now accepting abstracts for oral and poster
presentations--deadline for inclusion in the preliminary program:  August
1,1997.
