Could someone please remind us in which ftp site is the  Portable  AI  Lab?

Yes: Version 2.1 is now available via anonymous ftp at the network  address
pobox.cscs.ch in the directory /pub/ai/pail-2.1.  This directory contains a
README and a compressed tar file of the whole system in source  form.  This
is the standard  version  of  the  system.  Copies  taken  from  other  ftp
locations are not necessarily standard. The installation  procedure  should
be self explanatory.
