I study computer science at the University of Helsinki. I am also
one of the student members of our department's steering committee.

We students feel that the amount of obligatory mathematics in our 
current curriculum is too large, and we'd like to change that.

There will be a substantial reform in our curriculum next year,
so we try to diminish the amount of mathematics required. 
Unfortunately the staff members of the steering committee
aren't very keen on reforms of this kind. But they also
would like to follow very closely the European model of 
computer science curriculum.

So the only way of convincing them seems to be to study as 
many European computer science curriculums as possible and
build our argument on them.

So I need your help, my fellow European computer science students!
Please tell us the amount of mathematics you are required to
study and whether the amount is growing or diminishing.
