                Please help us celebrate the 40th anniversary of the
                instattion of SILLIAC at Sydney University, and of
                UTECOM at the University of New South Wales.


        It is also time to celebrate the success of the ACMS over the
        past two years and the Committee has scheduled a CELEBRATION in
        the form of a Dinner which we hope will become an annual event.

        We have secured a booking at the TAFE Catering School, REPIN
        Room in Blaxland Road, Ryde on Monday, 18th November, 1996.

 
        The TAFE Catering School has an excellent scenic view up the
        Parramatta River valley and attendees are assured of a very
        interesting selection of dishes, plus some tales of computing
        in the 'good old days of real iron and binary programming'.


        Dinner time is 6:30 for pre-dinner drinks and sit-down at 7pm,
        with the formalities finishing at 9:30pm. Dress - smart casual.
