Hy Steve and other blind colleagues,
I use Hal5.204, and up to now - touch wood - I
haven't experienced any problems with reading
and writing in the newsgroups section.
However, I have difficulty in deleting newsgroups from
my list as it is always the top of the
list that is deleted when I am in the delete mode, i.e., f6.
If I want to delete a group lower down in the list, I
have to delete all the ones leading down to it.
Muting my reader and synthesizer, then counting and entering
when I 'think' I have reached the one
to be deleted doesn't work - it is
always the top one that is deleted, then the next and
so on.
Adding a group is no problem.
As regards the mail service. No problems
at all here - all works well so simply.
Best wishes to all.
