Here's my problem... I want to write an application which sends email via Demon (for argument's sake). I want to access the mail server directly (as if I were telnetting in) to post the mail, and I want to download that mail (for one specific address) with another application that I have also yet to write. So - program A at foo.demon.co.uk accesses demons mail server and sends an email to otherend@nomatter.com program B accesses the mail server at nomatter.com and retrieves all mail from foo.demon.co.uk. I understand ip and can write the app no problem, it's just talking to the mail server that I've never done. Thanks very much in advance. cheers -- Chris Weston
