I believe that, at present, a comment in autoexec.net (and other KA9Q
files) is defined as having a hash ('#') in column one.
Would be hard (or memory intensive) to extend this so that anything from
the right of a hash was considered a comment? Eg:
start smtp # Starts SMTP server
I'm trying to tidy up autoexec.net to make it self documenting as far as
possible, but such a facility would make it a lot easier to do neatly.
(The idea is to create a self-explanatory autoexec.net file which could,
possibly, replace the existing distributed one. It would remove some of
the need for documentation if nothing else.)
Mark.
