Reverse Path line and the current PUNT software.

Has anyone else noticed that the current software on the Punts seems to
send no more that the basic email address for the reverse-path? For example
until recently if I sent mail to myself from CIX the MAIL FROM would look
like this:

MAIL FROM:<@tom.cix.compulink.co.uk:alan_s@cix.compulink.co.uk>

and now looks like this:

MAIL FROM:<alan_s@cix.compulink.co.uk>

OK, this example could be a change at CIX alone, but I can't recall having
seen anything with a more complex reverse-path for the last
twenty-four/forty-eight hours (and my software displays this for each
message so I see it for all incoming mail.)

This isn't a problem for my software since (a) I wrote it to be "liberal in
what you accept" and (b) it isn't used for relaying mail onwards so it
doesn't need to be able to bounce undeliverable stuff back down a reverse
path; However, if this is a genuine change and not simply a weird
coincidence in the mail I've been sent then might it not cause problems for
list server software &c?

Regards,

-Alan.
