the Aztec & Lattice compilers were both Amiga compilers, they did things
slightly differently.. the Aztec (also known as Manx for some reason) one
is effectively dead, most people these days use either SAS/C (which is
descended from Lattice - SAS Institute bought it out) or DICE or GCC, all of
which are ANSI compatible .. AmigaNOS has diverged from KA9Q though, and I
don't think they use the main sources any more though Dan Cannon at
<dan@blender.demon.co.uk> is the last person I know to have done work on it.
I don't know how widespread its use is either, many people use AmiTCP as its
more integrated with the OS as opposed to just being an application. (AmiTCP
is a port of the BSD network code, plus features)

I think there is also an Archimedes port of KA9Q, but again that has diverged
from the original sources.. I don't watch the demon.ip.support.mac newsgroup
but never see KA9Q mentioned in demon.tech.mac, they seem to mostly use other
software (that is built into System 7.5 ?)
