Hi, I'm thinking about providing an MS Access database solution to UK local authorities. I initially thought that it would be essential to operate on the basis of a limited Co. in order to protect me from personal liability in the event of litigation. However, when I went to one of these business startup advisors, he said that this would not be necessary as even limited status is no guarantee of freedom from personal liability in circumsances of negligence etc. Limited status clearly has the disadvantage of being more expensive to administer. I wonder if anyone could offer any advice regarding the pros and cons of each approach? Any advice gratefully accepted. Martin Hooper
