I'm surprised to find that I don't seem to have the .zip file still on my
machine[1]; however, I *think* the relevant file will be:
      ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/os2/netos2/ka9q217d-os2.270-src.zip
with the precompiled version, and supporting documentation, being in:
        ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/os2/netos2/ka9q217d-os2.270.zip

Sounds like a good start.

I would have e-mailed this info (and am still trying with the noone
address given in both your From and Reply-To headers); however, the From
said: "{Reply Address in.sig}" and yet there was nothing after this
point (certainly not a .sig separator) except

Perchance something has gone wrong with your .sig file?

[1] Stop press: I *have* got both those ZIP files on my machine (although
obviously not under those names), and their sizes do accord with those on
the Demon ftp server. Therefore I'm pretty sure the latter are the
correct ones. Remember, these will NOT have the bugfix for the mailkill
fault; all the same, it would be a good starting point to see if they can
be compiled with whatever you're using.
