Yup - also available via my mailserver, and advertised as such on the
relevant newsgroup. No responses.

Fair enough; I said I was prepared to be convinced that there was a
demand for this, and I have been. Though I'd still like to be able to
compile under djgpp in protected mode (for memory, and especially for
long filenames, e.g. for mailboxes); and I have to reiterate that my
experience of porting software between djgpp and Borland C has been
quite good. (The only real problem I've had, as with KA9Q, is assembler
that has to be run in real mode. Snews has some too, for reasons I
haven't been able to fathom.)

Cheers,

Roger
