Well, it is a sort-of developer issue... Does anyone know of net protocol analyser software for PCs? I know a long time (well, 5 years) ago a place I worked had a laptop running something under DOS which would receive packets sent over the network and display them in intelligable form (selecting by protocol type, MAC/IP addresses etc.), and I seem to remember something like that being available from FTP sites, but I have no idea what it was called (searching by Archie needs a file name). (Or if you know where better to ask, please let me know...) Thanks, Chris C

Novell does one called Lanalyzer, which they include in some of their SDK packs. -- Nikki Locke, Trumphurst Ltd. PC & Unix consultancy & programming nikki@trmphrst.demon.co.uk http://www.trumphurst.com/
