Why yes! NewsAgent v1.7b is almost ready to beta,
and has a wealth of new features. It comes with a
complete PC emulator, allowing it to run PC based
viruses, just so you aren't left out. It is capable of
automatically writing replies for you in groups you
can't be bothered to follow regularly. Not only can
you download binaries, but if there is a file you really
want, it will hack into other machines on the internet
until it finds it. If you want an MP3, it will even scan
CD's people are listening to, just in case. The fully
registered version allows you to make your own porn
by splicing together nude images it finds on the net
according to advanced AI rules.
I haven't yet added offline browsing. However I predict
that within 4-5 years (perhaps as early as 1999) people
will have non-metered internet access, so this might not
be a problem - just in time for the new Amiga's to be
available.
