STARTUP NOS already had that line in it. It also had 'verbose on'. I changed it
to 'off' and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the tip.

Nope. My version definitely isn't faster. But it does look a lot prettier!
Maybe version 2 (Spider) will be an improvement on Cab too! I know that's a
controversial thing to say but I'm having lots of problems with Cab.....
but that's a whole other story!! :-)
