Having used KA9Q/NOS etc. since March 1995, I finally tried my hand at a kill file recently, in accordance with the instructions in NNTP.TXT The immediate result was that on establishing a connection to Demon, after doing the clock thing and uploading the contents of MQUEUE, I had two bombs, four bombs, and a complete lock-up of the mouse. Reboot and inspection of the hard disk showed lock files on HISTORY, KILL and BATCH. Any assistance with identifying my errors/omissions will be much appreciated. I am using the original setup as recommended- about the only thing I have changed is to use STMH. -- Alan Price
