I'm getting very suspicious about this ascend equipment that Demon has
installed. Great that we can all supposedly get on line whenever we
want (please don't flame me - I don't know how to do a 'tounge in cheek'
smiley!); at least when we've worked out how to reconfigure our
software. This just happened:
NOS tried to send 3 emails. The one to Denmark went off without any
problem. Both the others, one to Cardiff and the other to a Demon
member, timed out on the 'client server trying', failed to
connect to gateway and gave up FIVE times in a row. I have 'trace on'
and I was connected to one of the ascends.
I immediately logged in again and got a non-ascend line. The mail went
off first time.
Are these ascend machines some sort of el cheapo gear or is is just
that everyone has the wrong equipment/software and the ascends are so
perfect they can't handle it?
