Because it's specifically a support group for Demon Internet (UK ISP)
customers connecting with Ataris, ie its function is local to one ISP,
though it is generally available for anyone who wants to read it (useful
occasionally as sometimes topics around connectivity and net software here
can shed light for users of other ISPs). Anything else (such as for sale
ads and general discussions etc are off topic here. As there are only a
small number of Atarians now using Demon, there isn't much traffic here any
more.

General dicussions happen in comp.sys.atari.st, with some more specific
discussions taking place in the other comp.sys.atari.* groups.
