A modem (obviously), HSModem v0.7 and a TCP/IP stack. Which stack you
can use will depend on the memory available in your ST. If it's 1Mb,
STiK or STinG will work, but you won't have a lot of available memory
for other programs. With 2Mb, you can use Magic and, therefore,
IConnect. With 4Mb, you can use Mint and NAES, adding mintnet as the
stack.

I used to use Magic with STinG on a 4Mb STE. That, with other memory
resident programs, took up 1.2Mb leaving plenty of space for POPWatch
for mail fetching, NEWSwatch for news fetching, AtarIRC an IRC client
and CAB 1.5 for browsing.
