Addmail - is it really this slow

I've been using Addmail for a few weeks since I got a new Performa 6200
and discovered Leemail didn't like it. Yet Addmail seems to be running
very slowly - even the smallest message take over a minute to come down on
a 14,400 USR modem. It seems *very* slow compared with Leemail 2. Has
anybody any suggestions about speeding things up?

(If you have, if you could reply here it would help my 120 message backlog!)
