I ask because using a v.32bis USR Sportster, and now a v.34 Courier, the Ascends worked fine for me without any changes. This is with MacTCP 2.0.4 and PPP 2.0.1 and 2.2.0a. Beware the late evenings; they have started giving me a funny "Sorry- there is no reply" message when lines get very busy, but in the morning and around 18:00, they seem to be dead reliable. One thing they can't cope with is CSLIP- Compressed SLIP. But I don't think that's normally a problem for Mac users. I may be wrong... Peter
