An interesting feature is that while the new 'Display only "New" Articles'
option works if you open a newsgroup from the 'Groups' window, it doesn't
if you use the spacebar to scroll through to the next newsgroup in the
list. (All the usual caveats about I could be doing something wrong here
apply.)
