I used to maintain the FAQ for this group. I used to post a pointer to it every month (it's on my website). This group gets so little traffic I stopped bothering. The FAQ itself hasn't been updated since OS 9.1 came out. Would someone like to take over the document or should I just let it die ? If you want to find the FAQ, see http://www.hearsay.demon.co.uk/

I reckon that, as you say, the group has naturally faded away and its denizens all gone to uk.comp.sys.mac. If somebody posts here, several of us seem to be watching and redirect them to ucsm, so I'd say that you could let it lapse. -- Peter

Hmmm, having bought myself an iBook just before Christmas I shall have
to start trawling places like that for pointers =)
Most of my friends are split into two groups, they either think I'm mad
or they think it's very cool =)
I've got over the initial 'how the hell does this odd thing work?' phase
of the learning curve by myself but I think it's time to explore things
a bit more.
I'm very impressed so far...

Indeedy. I've been impressed by Macs for some ten years now... -- Peter
