The Demon ADSL setup is much the same as with any other ISP. The best place
to ask about this is in uk.comp.sys.mac- and I've set followups there.

To help, we'd need to know more.

Which Mac operating system are you using? Presumably it's OS10 (aka OSX).
But is it OS 10.1.x or 10.2.x? It can make a difference.

Are you using Demon solo, in which you provide the kit and they provide
just the connection?

Are you using a router to connect, or a USB ADSL modem?

Are you happy that you have connected your router or modem correctly to the
phone line, using USB filters? These plug into the phone wall socket and
have one output socket for the ADSL modem and the other for a telephone
lead.

Demon will have sent you instructions for the initial configuration of your
setup. If your end is okay, their instructions are pretty basic and should
work.

Demon's ADSL helpline know about Macs and are very helpful. Call them.

Demon have a big contract with Apple and they support Macs quite
well. Phone the support number and see what they say.
