This is the weekly reminder that, subsequent to 7th October, 2005, the 
demon.ip.support.newuser FAQ is no longer being updated nor being posted 
to this newsgroup or to demon.answers. However it is still available 
from:

http://www.musonix.demon.co.uk/newuser/

Notes:

1. The FAQ does not cover issues specific to ADSL/broadband, but there 
is much information on this subject to be found on

     http://www.demon.net

2: BT discontinued Surftime on 31st March, 2007.

3. Demon closed down their FTP downloads server on 30th March, 2010.

4. With the imminent reorganisation of Demon' email handling which has 
just been announced, I think that the point has now been reached where 
the FAQ is too out of date to be very useful, so this will be the final 
posting of this reminder.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone still monitored disn, and I see that

John, thank you for all your efforts over these past years in 
maintaining the disn presence. And a thanks to Paul at Musonix as well..

It's not. I don't know whether Demon ever has any new users these days,
but if it does then they clearly don't discover newsgroups.
