Cant get mail working under OE55/W2KAS??

OE5.5, running under W2KAS doesnt seem to pick up any incoming mail from
pop3.demon.co.uk????? I know there is a tonne of mail but none sent.

There is no Username/Password moans and the progress thingy states
'Connecting....Authorising...etc..etc..etc'; no mention of any problems -
except, no mail!

Can anyone give any clues?
