Does anyone here still use Dial Other Internet Providers using the Demon script dialppp.cmd? I've been having a lot of trouble with connections to Demon using a Pace 33.6kbps modem and would like to modify the script to write all of the connect information to a log file. Although I'm no expert at Rexx it shouldn't be beyond me, but perhaps someone has already done it? The script uses two functions, ppp_com_output & ppp_com_input, that I can't find any information on. I assume they're part of IBM's ppp.exe - they appear in the script as: call ppp_com_output interface, sendstring and nextchar = ppp_com_input( interface, 1, 1000) what I want to do is copy the data returned from the modem to a file without interfering with the existing function. Any ideas?
