Anyone out there?

Hi...

Does anyone actually use this newsgroup?
Seems dead as a doornail to me.

Is there any expertise within Demon on OS/2 as a client? As the
support line does officially support it, a direct email address to
an enthusiast would be more use...

...unless this group is monitored...

yours, Marcus.

Hi,

There are still a few of us watching this group, but I for one have
pretty much stopped using OS/2 now, much as I like it.

Go ahead and ask your questions, someone will answer.

Well with a stable OS such as OS/2 one doesn't need much support. B-)

> Is there any expertise within Demon on OS/2 as a client?

I guess their might ne one or two who have heard of it but I doubt it goes
much further than that.

s/does/does not/ unless things have changed dramatically in the last year or
three! Which judging by your post here they haven't. If you have a problem
ask away the collective mind may well be able to help.

I keep an eye open in case anything of interest
turns up, it's pretty quiet.

I doubt it, they used to have one person a few years ago who knew
about OS/2 but I don't know if he's still around.

Anything in particular you want to know? I'm running OS/2
perfectly happily to Demon.

Oops!
Correction to previous post...

I meant "does not support it" of course.

Nice to see a few others out there.

On a related issue I have just received the fixes and apps on the
OS/2-UK user group CD. Their mailing list is VERY busy by comparison
with this one. It's a bit pricey, but saves downloading XFree,
NS4.61, Odin, Fixes, etc, etc. (and you get four in a year).

So now I am running FP9 and writing this on Netscape 4.61 which is a
definite improvement on the 4.04 version.

Both the user group and new NS recommended.

yours, Marcus.
