Has anyone any experience of CFos/2?

I've finally got around to ordering my ISDN2e line from BT (I *knew*
they'd eventually have a cut-price offer:-). A year ago, I bought an
Istec 1008 iSPBX and a Tele.S0/16.3 interface card[0].
For standard connectivity (and especially for my LAN), I shall probably
use ISDNPM[1], since that gives dial-up on demand and NAT. However, I'm
used to using KA9Q/2[2], called in an OS/2 window from DIS (running in a
DOS box) under OS/2 Warp V.4.
Therefore I need[3] a means of providing a simulated modem that KA9Q/2
can talk to, except that the "modem" should actually create an ISDN
session to Demon. Looking around, it appears that CFos/2 would fill the
bill: has anyone any experience of using it (particularly with Demon,
KA9Q/2, and the Teles implementation of CAPI v1.1 (Teles v3.10a))?
I'm especially interested in whether it's going to want to claim yet
another IRQ, to go with the simulated COM port, since I'm decidely short
of them :-)

[0] I *thought* I was being clever: I bought from Germany, paying DEM800
including VAT and carriage for the pair; at the time, this cost me
GBP305. I did it then because the pound was riding high against the DEM,
and I feared that a Labour victory could only drive it down instead.
Little did I know that it would actually be even cheaper nowadays :-(
[1] I've collected v2.9 from Leo; I see a mention in the Readme.txt of
v3.0: should I be collecting the latter from Freiburg?
[2] I've tried NEWNEWS.CMD through the Dial Other Internet Providers
TCP/IP stack, and am quite impressed; however, I feel that the companion
scripts, SENDIT and GETMAIL, are decidedly inferior to the features of
KA9Q/2[4] and so would prefer to carry on using the latter.
[3] I think, unless anyone can tell me otherwise!
[4] I *know* that it wouldn't really take me all that much time to knock
them into shape (e.g. make GETMAIL spawn multiple SMTP servers, for each
SockAccept) but can't really be arsed to do it :-(
