Can anyone please recompile a corrected KA9Q/2 for me?

Niel Kempson used to maintain the OS/2 version of KA9Q; indeed, at one
time he got all the "variation" into conditionally-included code, IIRC.

Since the last release of the EXE file for KA9Q/2 (5-AUG-1996) the bug
with accidental mailkilling has been discovered (although not fixed in
the official DOS version either); also Dom and others have made many
interesting developments with the DOS version.

About six months ago I asked Niel if he could recompile KA9Q/2 to fix at
least the mailkill bug but he told me that he was unable so to do because
he no longer had a licensed compiler. I have only the gcc compiler for
OS/2, and have been unsuccessful in using this to recompile KA9Q/2
(without the bug fixes).

Is there anyone else there with the IBM C++ Developers' Toolkit (or
whatever is needed) who could perform this recompilation? As the old
hands may have noticed, Niel has been conspicuous by his absence of late;
AIUI, he has "got a life" :-) Nevertheless, I'm e-mailing a copy of this
posting to him in the hope that he might interpolate into this thread
just what is required to compile KA9Q/2, and perhaps provide guidance for
any new volunteer.

Mail me the fix and I'll see what I can do, hopefully this weekend (so mail it
on Friday !!) I'll have time to re-install the IBM stuff. I know I've
previously compiled KA9Q/2.
