Gaarne jullie reactie!

Hello Ad, I do not know Dutch, but I think you are asking if the Trackman Marble and Marble FX work under OS/2. Well, I have a Trackman Marble running with OS/2 just using the standard (Microsoft) mouse drivers. Of course you can only use two buttons, and I am not aware that Logitech provides any drivers for OS/2 with all those extra facilities you get with the Windows drivers. It also runs with Linux as standard Microsoft mouse, and you can use all three buttons. I have not tried the Marble+ (the one with the wheel) or the FX. Some of the newer mice, like the latest one from M$, need to be sent an initialiation from the computer. Linux cannot handle this yet, so OS/2 probably cannot run these either. Hope this helps, Chris Priest. I replaced my 3-button Pilot with a Marble FX last week. It works with the same driver. OS/2 doesn't use the middle button for itself, but you can use third-party s/w like NPSWPS of FeelX to assign some functionality to it. And programs designed for 3-button mice (like Emacs) work just fine (using the standard Serial Mouse driver). Chris> I have not tried the Marble+ (the one with the wheel) or the Chris> FX. IBM has released a (beta) driver for wheel mice on its device drivers web site. From what I understand of it, you need a 4-button wheel mouse/track ball to emulate a 3-button wheel-free one. -- Note: I reserve the right to publish or return unsolicited, harassing or annoying (e-)mail. /hy:x/ PGP keyID: 0xDF28F4C1 "All are strange but thee and me; but sometimes thee acts funny."- Chuck Blake
