I've *just* managed to find a copy of the 1.50b1 on the Hobbes OS/2 site. I know Panacea seemed to have vanished (though it's still possible to register ProNews with BMT Micro) but I think they got at least as far as 1.50b4 before vanishing. Anyone know if that was the last released version, and where to get a copy? -- Martin ICQ 48819192 There's only us, there's only this Forget regret or life is yours to miss No other road, no other way; no day but today

There seem to have been a flurry of different Beta releases in May 1998 shortly before Panacea ceased to exist . The most common one is certainly 1.50 Beta 1. As you may have discovered Pronews suffers a variety of y2k problems. The good news is that a patch file has been created that corrects the most serious ones. You can find the correspondence about the fix on comp.os.os2.apps. The fix can be found on http://www.tavi.co.uk/os2pages/ My advice is to stick with 1.50Beta 1 with the patch applied. I've only been using Pronews a couple of months and will now register it. -- Jim Backus OS/2 - 32 bits without the bloat bona fide replies to jimb(at)jita(dot)demon(dot)co(dot)uk http://www.jita.demon.co.uk
