Help: how to connect my home-lan to the Internet using the 3Com 511s router?

I recently purchased a OfficeConnect 511s router, to be used in my home to
connect up to three desktop-computer to the Internet. My basic question is:
how do I do that?

I guess I have to change some DNS- and gateway settings, but how and what
values? The main reason I purchased this router was to have direct access to
the Internet and, if possible, to my office, where we use the same router to
connect two offices. Is this possible at the same time?

Any help appreciated!

My home-config:
2 x Desktop P200/128Mb, 3C900 NICs
1 x Laptop P120/32 Mb, Psion Modem/NIC
All connected to a OfficeConnect Hub, using TCP/IP as protocol
All computer run Win98 and are correctly configured in the sense that they
can talk with eachother and share printers and files, if necessairy... I
used to run Wingate to archieve the above, but since I installed the new
drivers for my NICs from the 3Com website, I haven't been able to connect
correctly to Wingate: is there a connection?

P.S.: I know there is a help-file on the 3Com website titled: "Setting up
ISDN link to a Internet service provider "
(http://support.3com.com/infodeli/tools/isdn/spt-tips/isdn/internet.htm) but
I'm afraid this is not enough...
