I've just received my credit card bills and see charges from Demon for
287.91 and 82.26, being 9 months hosting and dial up fees.
I thought - hey, I've been overbilled, then on checking prior
statements, I've not received a charge for ages, yet I received the
invoices each month.
Anyone else had this and received an explanation? Or would demon like
to comment.

Previously I had paid by credit card on a monthly basis. It took nearly three months for the full credit on my account to appear. I do know that the accounts department in Customer Services at Demon are log jammed with work. Getting through by telephone is an accomplishment these days! -- Graham Leatherbarrow

In my case I have received the monthly invoice, but had not seen the
credit card charge.
In your case, if VAT registered, you would not be able to reclaim the
VAT, affecting your cashflow.
Maybve Demon could do with some consulting from me;-)

The best way of doing something about it is to gripe *to* Demon via phone, fax and email rather than *about* them in Usenet. cheers, Chris Please replace 'spamfilter' with 'chris' for email replies to Usenet postings.
