I've now taken matters into my own hands. PGP as distributed with the
Turnpike beta includes in PGPkeys under Server/Send To a couple of other
key servers in addition to Demon's, namely certserver.pgp.com and
pgpkeys.mit.edu, so I've sent my public key to each of these.
