Mouse pointer garbled

Hi all,

Shortly after downloading & installing the BoingBag OS3.5 update set from Amiga,
my mouse pointer has become a series of garbled vertical lines. It still
operates properly, the hot spot is in the right place, ans the Prefs pointer
editor shows it having the right shape, but on all screens it looks duff. The
reference to the BoingBag may be a coincidence, but I'm keeping my options open.

Have I blown the blitter chip? Do I have a software fault? Any ideas, please?

System includes A1200T, Blizzard 1260, 32Mb Fast Ram, AteoBus system.

All help gratefully recieved, more details on request.

Regards,

Ian

Uhm, I vaguely remember having some problems like that with one of
the older versions of CGFx and the original Cybervision.

I haven't got around to installing BB#1 yet...

Possible though unlikely, have you got any old games you can try :)

Only frost burn. The vats contain liquid nitrogen at minus 200C. Just be
grateful your arm didn't go inside the vat - otherwise it wouldn't have come
out again. -- Kracaucer - Dragonfire

PS I did it late last night, no problems so far...

I'll try the pre-boot menu next time I remember... I have just re-installed
OS3.5 from the CD, and the pattern of lines has changed. Odd.

Yes, Ateo's Pixel64, with Piccasso96, version 1.4. No other problems before...

Happy New Year to you all! (It can't be any worse than the last few!)

Funnily enough I was just thinking that about 30 mins ago :)

I'm just thinking there may be some odd bug between the GFx software
and the new OS.

Unless Oz disappears in the next 11 hours...
