According to AmigActive issue 2, issue 3 should have come out on
November 25th. Did it? I ordered the mag from my local WH Smith,
but it hasn't appeared in my folder yet (or hadn't the last time I
looked, 2 days ago).

Yes it did. Subscribers got their copies a few days earlier.

Publication is the last Thursday of each month.

Then Smiths have screwed up, it's definitely been out for more than two
weeks.

I fell asleep reading a dull book, and I dreamt that I was reading on,
so I woke up from sheer boredom.

I forgot to mention this in my previous post. There is now secure online
ordering at http://www.amigactive.com - you can order single issues as
well as subscriptions.

And it was also in WHSmiths here in London SW18 sometime last week, so
thankfully this isn't a nationwide prob :)

Yup, our silly little newspaper/sweet shop had it in a couple of weeks
ago. It's next to me now, murmuring something about a forthcoming Whales
Voyage 2 review.... :)

I've just been into my local newsagent to buy Computer Shopper. This is
the only trime I look at the computer section of the magazine rack and I
was surprised to see two copies of AA. He hasn't stocked AF for years,
only getting in the one copy for my order.

I saw them today. They're blaming their distributors. I thought they
were WH Smith as well. Still, at least it should be on it's way soon.

They are, although it's a separate company. W H Smith Distribution
handle around a third of all UK magazine distribution.

What's so hard to believe about it? Do you really think SSL encrypted
HTTP transmissions are realistically crackable? It's a far more secure
way of using a credit card than giving the number to some anonymous oik
on the other end of the phone, not knowing where he'l write it or what
he'll do with the paper after he's finished with it.

The 40-bit keys common in most browsers outside the US sure as hell are.
Anyone with reasonable resources could do it in seconds at the outside.
(A cheap desktop could brute-force it in under a week, for comparison)
