Does anyone know of a way to get files from an Amiga Zip disk into a Mac? I need to transfer some files - they have long (ie not suitable for PC CrossDos) filenames. Thanks. The software could be at either the Amiga or Mac end. Tim Clague

I have not transfered to a mac, and I now use Crossdos 7
(Commercial) to transfer to a PC as it has long filename
support.
However, before I got 7 I just used the Zip archiver to
pack the files with long filenames into a .zip file with
a short file name such as "files001.zip" etc. and then
unpacked with winzip on the PC. Maybe this will work for
you.

Amiga archivers are in Aminet util/arc and util/pack.
