Some time ago I used Demon via Turnpike on a pc. I was able to use the Finger command to look at the number of calls made to a directory on my homepage so I had a rough idea of the number of visits to that particular directory. I know that the figure includes loading of graphics, but it was enough to give me an idea. I'm trying to do a similar thing now, but I'm using an iMac. I have split my homepage into folders and they contain different aspects of information and I'd like to get an idea of the number of visits or calls made to the separate parts. I've forgotten where I found the original information and it's so vague that I can't think how to search for the answer. Is there an equivalent of Finger for the Mac? Is there a way for the iMac to interrogate the server for the number of calls made to directories/folders on my homepage? Thanks for your help.
